Parking

Please be aware that parking restrictions apply at Governor Street and other area parking lots.  Be sure to take note of the time limits to avoid getting a parking ticket.

New Library Hours
Monday through Thursday, 9 AM to 7 PM
Friday and Saturday, 9 AM to 5 PM
Sunday 1-5
(closed summer Sundays)

The Library is approximately 8 miles south of Danbury, CT; 13 miles east of Katonah, NY; and 8 miles north of Wilton, CT.

From the North:

  • Take I-84 to Exit 3.
  • Head South on Route 7
  • Go right onto Route 35 and continue for approximately 4 miles.
  • Turn left on Route 35, which becomes Main Street
  • As you enter the historic center of Ridgefield, turn left at the 4th traffic light opposite St. Stephen’s Church.
  • 21 Governor Street is the large yellow building on the left. 

From Fairfield County and Points South:

  • Take Route 7 North in Wilton.
  • Take a left on Route 102
  • Turn right onto Route 35 (Main Street)..
  • Turn right at the first light
  • 21 Governor Street is the large yellow building on the left.

From Westchester County:

  • Take 684 to the Katonah/Route 35 exit.
  • Take Route 35 heading east toward Ridgefield (12 miles).
  • Turn left at the fountain onto Route 35/ Main Street.
  • Turn right at the first traffic lights.
  • 21 Governor Street is the large yellow building on the left.
