Visitors presenting a special coupon at Ridgefield's Peachwave store enjoyed yummy frozen yogurt and helped earn 20% of their purchase price as a donation by the store to the Library.
Ridgefield Library Days at Books on the Common
November 23-25, 2012
Once again, Ridgefielders showed their support for their Library and their local independent bookstore, resulting in proceeds of $900 donated to the Library by Ellen Burns and Darwin Ellis at BOTC.
We're Moving Forward
June 1, 2012
Over 100 people enjoyed a last hurrah before we got ready to close the doors at our current location and move to temporary quarters during construction, with a festive evening to mark the occasion. Libations...hors d'oeuvres...live and silent auctions of unique Library-themed items, with everyone's favorite auctioneer Ira Joe Fisher, brought in over $18,000 to support the ongoing operations of the Library.

A record number of Ridgefield Library cardholders shopped at Books on the Common over Thanksgiving weekend, resulting in $1,000 for the Library. Thanks to all the shoppers, and to Ellen Burns, Darwin Ellis and all the bookstore staff for their support.
Echoes of Sinatra

70 people temporarily forgot their storm-related woes with an evening of food and entertainment with a fun Italian flair! Singer/entertainer Steve Kazlauskas wowed the crowd with his renditions of Sinatra favorites. Proceeds supported the Library's annual operations.

A selection of literary-themed dining experiences, hosted by Library supporters in their homes or at delightful venues around town, was a huge success and raised more than $8,000 towards our annual operating budget.

Scores of readers and shoppers showed their library cards at the cash register during this busy retail weekend and 15% of the proceeds from all their book purchases were donated to the Ridgefield Library. Thanks to Ellen Burns, Darwin Ellis and the staff at Books on the Common!
David Gale Benefit Concert

Ridgefield native and violin virtuoso David Gale donated his time and talent to present a recital at South Salem Presbyterian Church to benefit the Library, where he was homeschooled while launching his musical career.

Hungry eaters earned nearly $600 for the Library as Piccolo Pizza generously donated a portion of all proceeds
